It's been a while since I've blogged but have been wanting to start another one. It's a new chapter in my life and with my walk with the Lord and I wanted to share this with all of you. I've been feeling this overwhelming desire to draw close to Him. I want this blog to be part bible study and part revelations from my walk. The title comes from the verse Mark 4:8 "Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times" (NIV). And the description underneath comes from 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" (NIV).
My prayer for a while has been that I am "good soil". I don't want to be a seed that didn't take root. I want the seeds that He planted in my heart and soul to grow. And I do believe that the tiniest of seeds can take root and grow into something wonderful. I've seen it happen in my life and in the lives of others.
As for the good fight and the race, well I'm still doing that. I don't want to say I'm finished until I'm taking my finals breaths.
This is just the introductory post. I have some trouble reading and understanding the bible but the more I go the more it becomes clearer to me. Be blessed.
